Intermediate 3 Chicks

This is League Play — not drop-in pickleball.

At Saddlebrook, you and your partner will play a 3-week League session with structured games, standings, and that signature PickleballChicks™ supportive, high-vibe energy. This is a test run of PickleballChicks™ League Play — we’re rolling it out small to make sure everything runs smoothly and to catch any little quirks before we scale it up.

The goal? Win your League… then go head-to-head with Clarendon’s top teams in our mini Regional Crown Showdown 👑

Dates & Timing

Wednesdays: Jan 7, Jan 21, Jan 28
(Saddlebrook is closed Jan 14 for cleaning, so this is a 3-week sesh)

Game time: 2:00–4:00 PM
Arrive by: 1:45 PM — ready to roll (we start on time)

Skill Lane — Intermediate 3

This League is for strong Intermediate players, what we call Intermediate 3 in PickleballChicks™ lingo (roughly DUPR 3.4–3.6).

Not beginners. Not quite Hotshots (3.7+).

If you’re a strong player who still battles some inconsistency and you’re looking for great competition in a supportive, high-vibe environment, this is it.

How We Roll

No DUPR required to register. Our Court Captains review all registrations to make sure teams are a good fit. We reserve the right to move or remove teams that aren’t. Our goal is well-matched, hell-ya-that-was-fun games, and good gatekeeping matters to us.
After Week 1, Court Captains will review teams that were clearly too strong and may politely remove them with a friendly, “You’re too strong for us, Queens!”
After Week 1, teams who feel the League pace is a bit too spicy for them have the option to step out and be replaced by a waitlisted team — no pressure, no judgment.
No scores will be submitted to DUPR

Registration (Teams of 2)

Register as a team
One partner registers and pays for both players
Teams must be available all weeks (Jan 7, 21, 28)
You may only register in one League session
(You can’t play Saddlebrook League and Clarendon League at the same time)

⚠️ Spots are limited. Once full, registration moves to a waitlist.

Waitlist Process

If a spot opens:

All waitlisted teams will receive an email at the same time
The first team to click and complete registration gets the spot

Cost

$5 per player ($10 per team)
This helps cover basic admin, the registration platform, and League organization costs.

House Rules

The Chick you register with must be your partner every week unless there is a genuine emergency
No refunds once registered
No make-up weeks if weather cancels play
(We’ll battle the wind — rain is a no-go)

How will you know if you got in?

You’ll receive a confirmation email from PickleballChicks™ once your team is successfully registered.
