We’re heating the fall season up with another pickleball tournament in Kitchener, Ontario at the Official Ontario Home of the PIckleballChicks: CORTE KW in October on the 19th!

Who we are:
PickleballChicks is an established “Chicks-Only” pickleball event host in the USA and Canada with 20+ sold out tournaments under our belts.
Our Vibe:
When you walk up to our registration desk, you’ll immediately feel the love. We create a welcoming, sassy vibe that helps melt away tournament anxiety. No one feels like running back to the car to cry at a PickleballChicks tournament. We’re all about the love of the game and respect and kindness toward our fellow players. We’re also very competitive so come with your A game and be prepared to put all those hours of play into action in the Battle for the Crown!
A humble brag:
We’re pretty darn good at running our cool tournaments which is why you’ll get lots of information ahead of the tournament date (us Chicks love to communicate!) and on game day; you’ll be in and out in just around 3 hours. We Chicks know how to get sh*t done 🙂 so you can get to your icy cold drink at Starbucks (or a bar lol) faster.
About our Tournament at CORTE KW:

Happily, CORTE KW is a fabulous sports dome and has all the facilities a Queen can ask for plus there’s no wind, no sun and no rain indoors!
Tournament Format:
Each team is guaranteed 5 games and best of all every team makes it into the playoffs either in Pool A or Pool B. You gotta love that kind of value in a tournament … we give you double what other tourneys do and we bathe you in the glow of PickleballChick-dom so … there’s that!
The Nitty Gritty:
When: Saturday October 19th
1pm to 4pm
Where: CORTE KW 401 New Dundee Rd, Kitchener, Ontario N2P 2N8. You’re going to love it here!
Skill Level: 3.0 Advanced Beginner/Low Intermediate. If you are 60+ you may register if your rating is up to a 3.7. If you’re a hot shot or hot shottish, this is not your tourney.
–> Note: ***** No sandbagging, like zero, nada, none…sandbagging is just not cool.***********
We will be checking ratings via DUPR and PickleballBrackets and reserve the right to refund your registration fee if you do not match our registration criteria (up to 3.4).
Max Players: 24
Solo players are welcome and encouraged to register and we will do our best to match you!
Format In Depth: Queens of the Court “Battle for the Crowns” Round Robin:
This is our most popular tournament format!
Stay with your partner and play a minimum of 5 games. Each team gets a bye in the first round of 6 games.
All teams make it to the playoffs for a minimum of one game.
Scoring:
Regular Games: Simplified Rally Scoring, hard stop, first to 11.
Points matter. top 6 teams go to Pool A and lower 6 teams go to Pool B.
Playoffs continue with Rally scoring.
Gold games are regular (non-rally) scoring to 15, win by 2.
What we’re playing for:
Fun, friendship and flexing our hard earned skills! Plus of course, gold, silver, bronze medals AND crowns for Gold winners.
Note for players without a partner:
If you don’t have a partner, it’s cool -> we love you and want you to play! Register solo and we will match you up with the next single to register. I will do my best to pair you up. We don’t want to leave any Chicks out!
Fee: $55. Refundable only on a 1:1 basis and only if you find a player to take your place. We understand plans can change and we’re fair Chicks 🙂
